Dr Christiana Onisiforou

Dr. Christiana Onisiforou earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 2019 from Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary. Following graduation, she began her private clinical practice as a General Dentist in Limassol at Art of Advanced Dentistry, working alongside Dr. Nicos Onisiforou.

In 2020, she was admitted to the prestigious three-year Advanced Specialty Program in Prosthodontics (MS) at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, Ann Arbor, USA — consistently ranked the #1 dental school worldwide. As a full-time resident, she developed expertise in complex full-mouth rehabilitation, occlusion, and implantology. Her excellence in the field was recognized with the Edward J. Billy Graduate Scholarship Award (2021–22). During her training, she also presented research and clinical work at international meetings, including the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP) and the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics (AAFP). Her master’s thesis research focused on the innovative thermoplastic material Ultaire™ AKP.

Upon completing her specialty training, Dr. Onisiforou returned to Cyprus to re-join Art of Advanced Dentistry, this time as a qualified Prosthodontist. She is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, with a focus on complex oral rehabilitation, cosmetic dentistry, and the surgical placement and restoration of dental implants, utilizing the latest advancements in digital dentistry.

In addition to her clinical work, she pursued her academic interests by joining the School of Dentistry at European University Cyprus in Nicosia as a Clinical Instructor in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics.

Dr. Onisiforou is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP), European Prosthodontic Association (EPA), European Association for Osseointegration (EAO), and the Cyprus Dental Association.

She succesfully passed the American Board of Dental Examiners (ADEX) Dental Licensing Examination and is licensed by the State of Michigan to practice in the US. She is also licensed to practice in Europe and Cyprus.
